Unplaced coal: the state company won a high-profile court case
Kyiv Commercial Court sided with the state-owned "Centrenergo" and ordered a private company to pay 239.41 million UAH for an unfulfilled coal supply contract.

The Commercial Court of Kyiv has issued a ruling regarding the dispute between the state enterprise "Centrenergo" and the private company "Energо Resource Group." According to case materials, in February 2024, "Centrenergo" made an advance payment of 770.74 million UAH for coal supplies. However, "Energо Resource Group" fulfilled its obligations only partially — 124 thousand tons were supplied for a total of 576.99 million UAH.
