The NEURC is raising the maximum electricity prices for businesses from 1 May

The NEURC is raising the maximum electricity prices for businesses from 1 May — NEURC electricity

The regulator has set new price caps at up to 15–17,000 UAH/MWh in response to a request from market participants.

This has been reported by the ExPro agency.

The price caps have been set at the following levels:

on the day-ahead and intraday markets:
maximum price cap – 15,000 UAH/MWh;
minimum cap – 10 UAH/MWh;

On the balancing market:

maximum price cap – 17,000 UAH/MWh;
minimum price cap – 0.01 UAH/MWh.

The new prices are scheduled to be introduced from 1 May 2026. The relevant decision was adopted following a request from the business sector on 23 April.

As a reminder, the NEURC previously updated the requirements for gas bills.
