ATESH partisans discovered an FSB radio-electronic reconnaissance post near Simferopol
In the temporarily occupied Crimea, agents of the ATEŞ partisan movement conducted reconnaissance of the Russian Federal Security Service's radio-electronic reconnaissance post located near Simferopol. The movement reported this on Telegram.
According to the partisans, this is a specialised radio direction finding facility, which is a key element of the occupiers' system for controlling radio waves and intercepting information. The agents transmitted the coordinates of the complex, namely 44.9703 and 34.01724.
The report notes that Russian special services use this direction finder to detect and attempt to detain members of the Ukrainian underground on the peninsula. The location of the facility in open terrain allows for maximum coverage and high accuracy when triangulating signals that can be used for communication.
ATESH representatives also stated that they had recorded not only the technical parameters of the complex, but also the duty rosters and travel routes of FSB employees to this point. The movement emphasises that the information gathered indicates the vulnerability of the occupiers' security system and makes it possible to better counter their attempts to control the situation in Crimea.
