Payments to internally displaced persons in July 2026: who needs to submit their documents by the end of June
This is stated on the government portal ‘Diya’.
For the majority of internally displaced persons, state assistance will be extended in July 2026 without the need to reapply.
The automatic renewal applies to those displaced persons whose circumstances affecting their entitlement to receive payments have not changed.
Who needs to submit documents by the end of June
IDPs will need to reapply to apply for or renew their assistance if they:
– are renewing child benefit;
– are reapplying for benefits as pensioners or people with disabilities;
– are full-time or dual-track students living separately from their parents;
– have experienced a change in family composition;
– have changed their current address.
Where to apply
You can apply for or re-register your benefits at the service centres of the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
Documents are also accepted at Administrative Service Centres and through authorised representatives of local authorities.
What documents are required
To apply, you will need your passport or ID card and an IDP certificate.
If necessary, you may also need your child’s birth certificate and documents confirming your entitlement to state benefits.
How to check the status of your application
You can check the status of your application or payments via the ‘Diya’ portal.
This allows you to track the progress of your application without having to visit the relevant offices again.
What assistance is available for IDP children
A monthly allowance of 3,000 UAH is provided for children of IDPs under the age of 6.
This is granted regardless of the family’s total income.
What has changed since 1 June
The rules changed after 1 June 2026.
Whereas previously, provided that documents were submitted by the start of June, payments could be backdated to 1 January, the allowance is now only paid from the month in which the application was made.
