Petrol prices at filling stations in Ukraine have risen again. Over the past 24 hours, petrol prices have increased by between 50 kopecks and 1 hryvnia.

ThePublic reports on the change in fuel prices, where to fill up for the cheapest, and where prices are too high.

How petrol prices have changed

Over the past 24 hours, petrol prices at Ukrainian petrol stations have changed. The OKKO and SOCAR chains have increased the price of all types of petrol by 1.00 UAH, whilst Ukrnafta has raised prices by 50 kopecks. At WOG petrol stations, prices have remained at yesterday’s levels. The cost of diesel and LPG has not changed at any petrol station.

The highest prices among the chains are recorded at SOCAR petrol stations. For example, the most expensive petrol (‘100-octane’) now costs 89.99 UAH/litre (yesterday it was 88.99 UAH).

The best deals on fuel, among the networks mentioned, are traditionally at "Ukrnafta". Even though petrol here has risen by 0.50 UAH over the past 24 hours, prices still remain significantly lower than at OKKO, WOG and SOCAR petrol stations.

For example, Ukrnafta sells the cheapest A-95 petrol at 73.40 UAH/litre. By comparison, regular 95 at SOCAR costs 79.99 UAH/litre – meaning you can save 6.59 UAH per litre at the state-owned network.
