Over the past day, 128 combat clashes between the Ukrainian Defence Forces and Russian troops were recorded on the front line. The most intense fighting took place in the Pokrovsk, Kostyantynivka and Huliaipole directions.

As of 08:00 on 12 March, there were 128 combat clashes between the Ukrainian Defence Forces and Russian troops on the front line during the previous day.

During this time, Russian troops carried out 103 air strikes and dropped 322 guided bombs. In addition, they used 9,216 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,956 shellings of populated areas and Ukrainian military positions, 49 of which involved the use of multiple launch rocket systems.

Air strikes were recorded in the areas of Velykomykhailivka, Kolomiitsy, Pysantsy, Pokrovsk, Gavrylivka, Pidhavrylivka and Oleksandrivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Strikes were also carried out near Shyroke, Charivne, Huliaipilske and Dolynka in the Zaporizhzhia region, as well as in the Prydniprovsk area of the Kherson region.

The Ukrainian Air Force, missile forces and artillery struck three areas where Russian troops were concentrated, seven artillery systems, five drone control points, a command and observation post and three other important enemy targets.

In the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, the Ukrainian military repelled one enemy assault. The enemy carried out four air strikes using ten aerial bombs and carried out 110 shellings, three of which were from multiple launch rocket systems.

In the South Slobozhanskyi direction, Russian troops stormed the positions of Ukrainian units near the village of Prylipka once.

In the Kupiansk direction, Russian forces attacked three times in the direction of Novoplatonivka and Podiv.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy carried out six attacks and attempted to break through the defences near Drobysheve and Cherneshyna.

In the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian units stopped seven attempts by Russian troops to advance in the Zakytne area and in the direction of Rai Oleksandrivka and Dronivka.

No offensive actions were recorded in the Kramatorsk direction.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, Russian troops carried out 22 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Ivanopil, Illinivka, Berestok, and Sofiivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian troops repelled 24 enemy assaults near Bilytske, Nykyforivka, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Kotlyne, Udachne, Muravka, Novopidhorodne, and Novoplatonivka.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, Russian troops attacked three times in the areas of Ternove, Zlagoda, and Dobropillia.

In the Huliaipole direction, there were 21 combat clashes near Huliaipole, Novoukrainka, Zaliznychne, Tsvitkove, and Mirne.

In the Orikhiv direction, one combat engagement was recorded near Stepove.

In the Prydniprovsk direction, Ukrainian units repelled one attack by Russian troops near the island of Bilohrudy.

In the Volyn and Polissya directions, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.

Ukrainian troops continue to inflict losses on Russian forces and repel their attacks on all sections of the front.

Over the past day, Russian troops lost 780 personnel. The Russian army also lost three tanks, 20 armoured combat vehicles, 56 artillery systems, one multiple launch rocket system, one air defence system, 2,102 drones, 243 vehicles and a heavy flamethrower system.
