The police are investigating the murder of a three-year-old girl in Kalush

The police are investigating the murder of a three-year-old girl in Kalush, who was killed by her mother "while exorcising spirits."

The child's body was discovered on June 7 in a rented apartment where she lived with her mother. According to preliminary data, the 32-year-old woman inflicted stab wounds on her daughter (pictured) and drowned her in the bathtub. According to neighbors, she acted under the pretext of "expelling evil spirits".

After the murder, the woman wrote to her ex-husband that the child was a "fetus of a demon".

The suspect was detained. She has been charged with intentional murder of a minor. The court has remanded her in custody. The investigation is ongoing.
