Fire at "Yodobrom" – the scientific and production enterprise was damaged as a result of attacks
A fire has been reported in the area of the Saky Thermal Power Plant in the temporarily occupied Crimea, at the premises of the “Yodobrom” scientific and production facility. Prior to the fire, the area saw drone activity, as well as sounds of gunfire and explosions.

A fire has been recorded in the temporarily occupied Crimea at the facilities of the “Yodobrom” scientific and production enterprise, located approximately 250 meters from the Saky Thermal Power Plant. According to ThePublic.info, citing satellite imagery, increased activity was observed during the night in the area — drones were spotted in the sky, as well as gunfire and explosions.

“Yodobrom” specializes in the production of chemical substances, including analytical-grade iodine, potassium iodide of various classifications, potassium iodate, sodium iodide (ACS grade), triiodomethane, dibromodiphenyl, epibromohydrin, trimethyloctadecylammonium bromide and tetrabromomethane. The enterprise also manufactures flame retardants based on finely dispersed aluminum hydroxide, modified with various agents derived from brominated organic compounds and ammonium polyphosphate.

According to ThePublic.info, the facility further produces non-standard corrosion-resistant industrial equipment made from titanium and stainless steel. Among its products are storage tanks, nutch filters, ventilators, pumps, and heat-exchange units intended for chemical production facilities.

Earlier, explosions were also reported in Dzhankoi and Kerch, with the “Hvardiiske” military airfield coming under attack.
