The Accounting Chamber has begun an audit of the drone procurement process

"The Accounting Chamber has initiated an compliance audit on the topic of «Procurement of unmanned systems», during which it plans to examine the procurement process for defense needs: planning stages, contract signing, and monitoring of their implementation," the message states.
Objects of control include the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the Defense Procurement Agency.
It is expected that the results of this audit will identify deficiencies in procurement planning and provide recommendations to address the causes of delays in the delivery of unmanned systems. Ultimately, this will contribute to meeting the urgent needs of the military for unmanned systems.
The audit is conducted by auditors from the Control Department in the field of security, defense, and military-industrial complex of the Accounting Chamber. The person responsible for the audit is Gennadiy Plis, a member of the Accounting Chamber.
The report on the results of this audit is planned to be published in November 2025.
