Robert De Niro addressed the Ukrainian people: what the legendary actor said
The legendary American actor Robert De Niro has once again publicly expressed his support for Ukraine and recorded a video message for the Ukrainian people.
In the video, he unexpectedly began speaking in Ukrainian. De Niro emphasised that he, his family and millions of Americans admire the resilience of the Ukrainian people in their struggle against Russian aggression.
The actor also stated that he sees the crimes being committed by Russian occupiers on Ukrainian soil.
In his message, De Niro wished Ukraine peace as soon as possible and urged people to hold on despite all the trials.
At the end of his speech, he switched back to Ukrainian and declared: “Glory to Ukraine”.
After the address appeared on social media, a wave of gratitude ensued. Users thanked the actor for his support and called him a true friend of Ukraine.
