Russia has lost 1,300 troops in the war against Ukraine over the past 24 hours

Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army’s casualties in the war against Ukraine have risen by 1,300. The total number of casualties since the start of the full-scale invasion has exceeded 1.3 million.

Total combat losses among Russian forces since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine on 24 February 2022, as of 2 April 2026, stand at approximately 1,300,030 personnel. Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army has lost a further 1,300 troops.

Furthermore, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, equipment losses amount to 11,830 tanks, including two over the past 24 hours. A total of 24,334 armoured fighting vehicles have been destroyed, with a further seven lost over the past 24 hours.

A total of 39,228 artillery systems have been recorded, 59 of which were lost in the past 24 hours. There are 1,713 multiple launch rocket systems, with one lost in the past 24 hours.

1,338 air defence systems have been destroyed. 435 aircraft and 350 helicopters have been lost.

The number of tactical-level unmanned aerial vehicles stands at 213,393, of which 2,497 were lost in the past 24 hours. 4,491 cruise missiles have been destroyed.

33 ships and boats were lost, along with two submarines. 86,773 vehicles and tankers were destroyed, including 195 in the last 24 hours.

A further 4,107 units of specialist equipment have been destroyed.

The General Staff noted that the figures are subject to revision.
