Russian missiles struck an industrial facility in Chuhuiv

A missile strike on an industrial site was reported in Chuhuiv, Kharkiv Oblast, on the afternoon of 29 April. No reports of casualties had been received at the time of this report.

According to Chuhuiv’s mayor, Galina Minayeva, at around 13:10 Russian forces launched a missile strike on the city.

“About 20 minutes ago, the enemy launched a missile strike on the city. The strike hit an industrial site,” she said.

Oleg Synyegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, clarified that the strike had shattered windows in nearby private homes.

According to preliminary data, there were no casualties. Specialist services are working at the scene to assess the extent of the damage and the circumstances of the attack.

Prior to this, the Ukrainian Air Force reported a high-speed target in the Kharkiv region. The sounds of explosions were also heard in Kharkiv.

This is the second day in a row that the city has come under attack. On 28 April, Russian drones attacked Chuhuiv, killing a 70-year-old man and injuring another resident.
