The Ministry of Energy called on citizens to consume electricity rationally.

Reported by ThePublic.info citing the telegram channel Ministry of Energy.

"The enemy has launched strikes on energy facilities in Chernihiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions. The situation remains most difficult in Chernihiv. Energy workers are working continuously to restore electricity supply to consumers. A set of measures is being implemented to ensure the stable functioning of the energy system," the message states.

As of October 8, electricity consumption restrictions are in place in Chernihiv region.

The energy system is preparing for the winter season: repair and modernization works are being carried out on facilities, necessary equipment stocks are being accumulated, and protection of key infrastructure is being strengthened. All these steps are aimed at providing Ukrainians with reliable electricity and heat supply.

The Ministry of Energy urges consumers to use electricity rationally, especially during peak consumption hours in the morning and evening. This helps reduce the load on the system.
