Russia has lost over a thousand troops and two multiple launch rocket systems in the past 24 hours

Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army has lost a further 1,020 troops in the war against Ukraine. Ukrainian forces have also destroyed dozens of pieces of military equipment, including artillery systems and multiple launch rocket systems.

Total combat losses among Russian forces from 24 February 2022 to 25 May 2026 amount to approximately 1,356,940 personnel. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian army lost 1,020 soldiers in the past 24 hours alone.

The Ukrainian military also destroyed:

  • 3 tanks;
  • 5 armoured fighting vehicles;
  • 47 artillery systems;
  • 2 multiple launch rocket systems;
  • 1,924 tactical-level unmanned aerial vehicles;
  • 55 cruise missiles;
  • 302 vehicles and tankers;
  • 14 ground-based robotic systems;
  • 2 units of specialist equipment.

In total, since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russia has lost 11,953 tanks, 24,608 armoured fighting vehicles, 42,687 artillery systems and 1,802 multiple launch rocket systems.

The General Staff also reported on Russian losses in the air and at sea. A total of 436 aircraft, 353 helicopters, 33 ships and boats, as well as 2 submarines, have been destroyed.

In addition, Russia has lost 310,245 tactical-level drones, 4,687 cruise missiles and 99,000 vehicles and tankers.
