Russian attacks over the past 24 hours have resulted in casualties across several regions of Ukraine

Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces have continued to shell and launch drone attacks on Ukrainian regions. There have been casualties and injuries, as well as damage to residential and civilian infrastructure.

Mykolaiv Region

Russian forces have again attacked Mykolaiv with strike drones. On the morning of 12 June, a man was injured and taken to hospital. The strike damaged buildings belonging to a transport company and vehicles.

On the night of 12 June, three people were injured in a drone attack. Those injured were a 40-year-old woman, a 39-year-old man and their 18-year-old daughter. All were hospitalised. The man’s condition is described as serious, whilst the women are in a moderately serious condition.

According to rescue workers, a man born in 1985 with shrapnel wounds and two women born in 1986 and 2008 were rescued from the damaged building. A large-scale fire broke out as a result of the attack. Fourteen private homes and two cars were damaged, and two houses were destroyed.

Zaporizhzhia region

Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces have carried out 949 strikes on 44 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region.

As a result of the attacks on Zaporizhzhia, Zaporizhzhia and Polohiv districts, two people were killed and three others were injured. There were 68 reports of damage to homes, infrastructure and vehicles.

Dnipropetrovsk region

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops have attacked the region nearly 20 times using drones and aerial bombs.

In the Synelnykivskyi district, the Vasylkivska and Shakhtarska communities came under attack. Private homes were on fire, and five-storey buildings, a sports complex and infrastructure facilities were damaged. A 59-year-old man was injured and will receive outpatient treatment.

In the Nikopol district, the communities of Nikopol, Chervonohryhorivka, Marganetsk and Pokrovsk were attacked. A fire broke out on the premises of a municipal enterprise, and a high-rise building and a car were damaged.

In the town of Apostolove in the Kryvyi Rih district, a private house was damaged.

Sumy region

Over the past 24 hours, two people were killed and 13 others injured as a result of Russian strikes.

In the Konotop community, a 40-year-old woman was killed following a drone attack. A 38-year-old and a 49-year-old man, and a 42-year-old and a 52-year-old woman were injured. A residential building and a post office were damaged.

In the Zno-Novgorod community, a 67-year-old woman was killed by a Russian drone strike. Two children aged three and four were also injured.

In the Sumy community, a 70-year-old woman and men aged 48 and 56 were injured. Houses, cars and a petrol station were damaged.

In the Bilopil community, a 44-year-old man and a 73-year-old woman were injured when a drone struck a motorbike.

In the Shostka community, a 32-year-old man was injured and a house was damaged as a result of a UAV attack.

Also in Sumy, a Russian drone struck a student hall of residence on the sixth floor. The blast wave shattered the windows. No reports of casualties have been received.

Poltava region

In the Poltava district, a Russian drone struck a workshop at an industrial plant during the night. A fire broke out, which was extinguished by State Emergency Service units. No one was injured.

Kyiv region

In the Boryspil district, a fire covering an area of 2,000 square metres broke out after a Russian drone struck an infrastructure facility.

Rescue workers from the Kyiv region and the capital, as well as specialist equipment from Boryspil Airport, were deployed to tackle the blaze. The fire has been extinguished.

Donetsk region

According to the regional military administration, on 11 June, Russian troops killed two residents of the region. The fatalities occurred in Druzhkivka and Vesele.

Four more people were injured. Two were injured in Druzhkivka and two in Sloviansk.

Kherson region

Over the past 24 hours, nine people were injured as a result of Russian shelling and drone attacks in the Kherson region.

A multi-storey building, two private houses, a shop, mobile phone masts, storage facilities and private cars were damaged.
