The attack on the Chernihiv region
On the morning of 19 May, the Russian army attacked Pryluky in the Chernihiv region. A local business was hit.

This was reported by Vyacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration.

As of 11:30, two people are known to have died and 17 have been injured. Among the injured is a 14-year-old child. Medical staff are providing all necessary assistance.

A shopping centre near the crash site, a supermarket and fire engines have been damaged.

The Hlukhiv community in the Sumy region was also targeted. Two men, aged 58 and 52, were killed. Four more people were injured — two women and two men.

All have been hospitalised; medics are examining the injured and providing the necessary care.

As a reminder, on the night of 19 May, Russian forces attacked several regions of Ukraine using drones, artillery and other types of weaponry. The strikes have resulted in deaths and injuries, as well as damage to homes, port infrastructure, warehouses and vehicles.
