The Specialised Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office will seek the arrest of Andriy Yermak, with bail set at 180 million hryvnias
The Specialised Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office will request that Andriy Yermak, the former head of the President’s Office, be remanded in custody, with the option of posting bail set at 180 million hryvnias.
This was announced during a briefing by the head of the SAP, Oleksandr Klymenko.
According to him, the relevant application will be considered by the High Anti-Corruption Court.
Klymenko also stated that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was not and is not involved in the pre-trial investigation into the laundering of 460 million hryvnias in connection with the construction of luxury cottages near Kyiv.
Earlier, the High Anti-Corruption Court scheduled a hearing on a motion to apply a preventive measure against the former head of the Office of the President of Ukraine. The hearing is due to take place on 12 May at 16:00 at the court premises at 41 Beresteisky Avenue.
