Today, 25 May, Ukraine is set to enjoy sunny weather, with temperatures reaching up to 29°C in places. However, brief showers are expected in some regions.

This has been reported by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Centre.

Weather in Ukraine

Variable cloud cover is expected in Ukraine today. During the day, there will be short showers and occasional thunderstorms in the east, parts of the south, the Dnipropetrovsk region and the Carpathians. The rest of the country will remain dry.

The wind will be north-westerly, 7–12 m/s.

Daytime temperatures will range from 21–26°, up to 29° in Zakarpattia and the south of the country, and 15–20° in the Carpathians.

Weather in Kyiv

Variable cloud cover is forecast for Kyiv and the surrounding region today, with no rain

North-westerly wind, 7–12 m/s.

Daytime temperatures across the region will be 21-26°, in Kyiv 23-25°

As a reminder, according to the forecast by Ukrhydrometeorological Centre meteorologist Ivan Semylit, the weather in Ukraine will be ‘up and down’ in the near future – ranging from sunshine to thunderstorms.

On 24-25 May, daytime temperatures are expected to reach +21...+26°C, but by 27 May a new weather front will bring rain and thunderstorms to most regions, whilst in the north daytime temperatures will drop to +15...+21°C.
