The death toll from Russian attacks has risen in Kyiv and Dnipro
The attack on Kyiv and Dnipro on 2 June
As a result of Russia’s large-scale attack on Ukraine on the night of 2 June, 17 people were killed in Kyiv and Dnipro.

In Dnipro, the bodies of a woman and an 8-year-old boy have been recovered from the rubble — this is the second child to have died in the city; the death of a boy born in 2023 had previously been reported. The death toll has risen to 11.

Thirty-seven people were injured in the attack, 22 of whom are currently in hospital.

In Kyiv, one of the injured has died in hospital. Medical staff have confirmed a total of 64 injured and six dead, though the figures may not yet be final.

As a reminder, last night the Russians launched 656 drones and over 70 missiles at Ukraine

The Russian army launched 656 drones and over 70 missiles at Ukraine overnight, including anti-ship ‘Zircons’.

Across Ukraine, there are currently reports of 17 fatalities and over a hundred casualties. The attack caused extensive damage to civilian infrastructure in the Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv and Zaporizhzhia regions.
