The fuel cashback scheme has ended: you can use your accumulated funds until 30 June
This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.
“It was a temporary anti-crisis measure to provide financial support to our people during the worst global oil crisis in the last 50 years,” she recalled.
The national programme ran from 20 March to 31 May and enabled Ukrainians to save between 5% and 15%, depending on the type of fuel.
91% of the programme’s users are owners of economy-class cars with small-capacity engines.
During the programme’s duration, around 500,000 new National Cashback cards were issued, contributing to the further development of state digital services.
Accumulated cashback funds can be:
- used to pay for utilities, purchase medicines, books and Ukrainian-made goods;
- donated to charity or used to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Accumulated cashback funds for fuel must be used by 30 June 2026 inclusive. After this date, any unused balance will be returned to the state budget.
