Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army has lost a further 1,470 troops. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, the total losses of Russian personnel have exceeded 1.42 million, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has published updated figures on Russian military casualties as of 15 July 2026.

According to the General Staff, Russia has lost around 1,423,280 military personnel since the start of the full-scale invasion. Over the past 24 hours, personnel losses totalled 1,470.

Furthermore, according to the Ukrainian command, over the past day the Russian army lost 10 tanks, six armoured fighting vehicles, 42 artillery systems, five multiple launch rocket systems, one air defence system, 2,003 tactical-level unmanned aerial vehicles, seven cruise missiles, one ship or boat, two ground-based robotic systems, 445 vehicles and tankers, as well as four units of specialised equipment.

In total, since the start of the full-scale war, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russia’s losses amount to:

  • personnel – approximately 1,423,280;
  • tanks – 12,141;
  • armoured fighting vehicles – 24,938;
  • artillery systems – 45,953;
  • multiple launch rocket systems – 1,936;
  • air defence systems – 1,492;
  • aircraft – 437;
  • helicopters – 353;
  • operational-tactical-level unmanned aerial vehicles – 409,204;
  • cruise missiles – 4,906;
  • ships and boats – 34;
  • submarines – 2;
  • ground-based robotic systems – 1,907;
  • vehicles and tankers – 120,307;
  • specialised equipment – 4,420.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has noted that the figures given are subject to revision.
