In the Belgorod region, a Ukrainian drone struck a Russian Mi-28 attack helicopter
This was reported by Robert (Madyar) Brovdi, commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces, who also published a video.
According to him, the helicopter was shot down at around 10 am by soldiers from the 427th Separate ‘Rarog’ Unmanned Systems Brigade near the village of Vyazove in the Belgorod region.
The Mi-28 is a Russian attack helicopter designed to destroy armoured vehicles, personnel and air targets at low altitudes. It is equipped with a 30-mm cannon, guided anti-tank missiles and unguided aerial munitions.
