The Russian army has lost more than 1,000 troops in the war against Ukraine, according to the General Staff

Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army has lost a further 1,150 troops in the war against Ukraine. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, total Russian personnel losses since the start of the full-scale invasion have exceeded 1.34 million.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has reported that the Russian army’s total combat losses from 24 February 2022 to 15 May 2026 amount to approximately 1,346,390 personnel.

Over the past 24 hours, according to the General Staff, Russian forces have lost 1,150 personnel.

The Ukrainian military has also destroyed 11,935 tanks, four of which were destroyed in the last 24 hours.

The Russian army’s losses in armoured combat vehicles stand at 24,569 units, 12 of which were lost in the past 24 hours.

The number of artillery systems destroyed has reached 42,085, multiple launch rocket systems – 1,788, and air defence systems – 1,379.

According to the General Staff, since the start of the full-scale war, Russia has also lost 435 aircraft, 352 helicopters and 1,388 ground-based robotic systems.

The number of operational-tactical-level drones destroyed stands at 291,458, of which 1,780 were destroyed in the last 24 hours.

The Ukrainian military has also destroyed 4,626 cruise missiles, 33 ships or boats, and two submarines.

Losses of Russian motor vehicles and tankers have reached 96,540 units, and those of specialised equipment – 4,184 units.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that the data is still being finalised.
