The Russian Federation’s military casualties have exceeded 1.369 million
As of 4 June 2026, the total combat losses of Russian forces since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine have reached approximately 1,369,340 personnel. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian losses over the past 24 hours amounted to a further 1,300 troops.
The Russian army has also lost 11,978 tanks, four of which were destroyed in the last 24 hours.
The number of armoured combat vehicles destroyed has risen to 24,676. Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian military destroyed a further three such vehicles.
The Russian Federation’s losses of artillery systems stand at 43,247 units, including 75 over the past 24 hours. The Russian army has lost 1,830 multiple launch rocket systems, four of them over the past 24 hours.
The number of air defence systems destroyed remains at 1,403. The Russian Federation has also lost 436 aircraft and 353 helicopters.
The total number of operational-tactical-level unmanned aerial vehicles destroyed has reached 327,726. Over the past 24 hours, the Defence Forces have destroyed a further 2,111 such vehicles.
In addition, Russian forces lost 4,733 cruise missiles, 33 ships or boats, and two submarines.
Losses of motor vehicles and tankers amount to 102,971 units, of which 396 were destroyed over the past 24 hours. The Ukrainian military also destroyed a further three units of specialist equipment, bringing the total losses to 4,248.
Separately, the General Staff reported the destruction of a further 14 ground-based robotic systems. In total, the Russian army has now lost 1,562 such systems.
