The Russians struck a residential building in Kharkiv with a ‘Banderole’ missile. Two people are known to have been killed and more than 30 injured
This was reported by Oleg Synyegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration.
It is currently known that 34 people were injured as a result of the strike, including boys aged 17, 16 and 3, and a 12-year-old girl. The fifth floor of the building was partially destroyed, and two cars nearby were damaged.
According to media reports, the two people killed in the Russian strike were a man and a woman who were on the street. One of the victims was simply walking past, whilst the other was driving past in a car.
Spartak Borisenko, head of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, stated that the Russians struck the building with an S8000-type munition ‘Banderole’ munition — a hybrid of a kamikaze drone and a small cruise missile.
