The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine has launched the “Personal Account” service
The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine has launched a service called ‘Personal Account’, through which citizens can check whether there are any temporary restrictions on their travel abroad. The service covers restrictions imposed by a court or the enforcement service, in particular due to maintenance payments, fines or other debts.

This was reported by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

According to the SBGS, a Ukrainian citizen’s right to leave Ukraine may be temporarily restricted in accordance with Article 6 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Procedure for the Departure from and Entry into Ukraine of Ukrainian Citizens”.

What you can check in your personal account

The new “Personal Account” service allows citizens to quickly and independently check whether there are any temporary restrictions on their travel abroad.

The State Border Guard Service clarified that this specifically refers to restrictions imposed by a court or the enforcement service. Possible reasons include maintenance payments, fines and other debts.

At the same time, restrictions related to martial law are checked according to separate rules and are not displayed in the personal account.

How the State Border Guard Service service works

Registration in the “Personal Account” is available via the id.gov.ua electronic signature, Diya.Signature, BankID or KEP.

After logging in, the system automatically checks the data in the State Border Guard Service databases in real time.

The result appears immediately. The user sees one of two statuses: “No restrictions” or “There is a temporary restriction”.

Personal data protection

The State Border Guard Service emphasised that all data in the service is protected in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On the Protection of Personal Data”.

The service is designed to simplify citizens’ access to information about possible temporary restrictions before travelling abroad.
