The Temporary Investigation Commission has reported that $100,000 in volunteer funds went missing following a search
Denis Shtilerman spoke about this during a meeting of the Temporary Investigation Commission.
During the meeting of the Temporary Investigation Commission, Denis Shtilerman stated that in early March 2022, $100,000 went missing from his home during searches.
According to him, this was money donated by volunteers.
During the conversation, Shteilerman was asked to clarify whether he was referring to the searches during which the money had been “stolen” from him. He confirmed this and explained that the events took place at the very start of the full-scale invasion.
He did not give an exact date, but noted that it was “sometime in March”.
Stilerman also said that a report had been filed regarding the missing money.
According to him, the police are investigating the case, but there are still no results.
“But there are no results,” he said.
When it was pointed out during the hearing that more than four years had already passed, Stilerman replied that he had no time “to waste on such nonsense”.
After that, he was told that $100,000 is a lot of money.
Stilerman agreed and clarified that the money in question was specifically from volunteer funds.
“$100,000 was quite a lot of money. And the earrings too. They were quite expensive,” he said.
So, during the TSK meeting, the discussion centred not only on $100,000 but also on the valuable earrings.
The conversation does not specify who exactly carried out the search, under which proceedings it took place, or whether the police have identified the individuals involved in the disappearance of the money and jewellery.
Nor is there an official statement from the police regarding the progress of the investigation.
