The weather in Ukraine is set to take a sharp turn for the worse on 3 June 2026
It will be coolest in the northern and central regions.
On Wednesday, 3 June, a spell of cooler weather is set to sweep across Ukraine: some regions will experience rain, thunderstorms and strong gusts of wind.

This was reported by weather forecaster Natalka Didenko. According to her forecast, a brief cold snap will affect the northern and central regions, as well as the Odesa and Mykolaiv regions.

The weather in Ukraine on 3 June will change significantly due to the arrival of colder air. In some regions, temperatures will drop to +17…+20 degrees, and short-lived showers are expected across almost the whole country.

It will be coolest in the northern and central regions. A drop in temperature is also forecast for the Odesa and Mykolaiv regions. In these regions, temperatures of +17…+20 degrees are expected during the day.

Where will it be warmer

In western Ukraine, the eastern regions and most of the south, the weather will remain warmer.

Daytime temperatures there will be +22…+26 degrees. In the east, dry air is forecast to prevail, so significant rainfall is unlikely there.

Rain, thunderstorms and strong winds

Short-lived showers are possible on 3 June across almost the whole of Ukraine, except for the eastern regions.

The wind will be south-easterly. In the north, centre and south of Ukraine, strong gusts are possible, so the forecaster has urged people to be careful.

According to the source, in some regions the rain may be accompanied by thunderstorms, with hail and squalls possible in places.

Weather in Kyiv on 3 June

In Kyiv on 3 June, cloud cover will increase, with light rain and a gusty south-easterly wind possible.

The air temperature in the capital will briefly drop to +17…+18 degrees. Didenko advised Kyiv residents to dress a little warmer.
