Another fire has broken out at the maritime terminal in Tuapse following a drone attack
On the night of 1 May, a fire broke out at the maritime terminal in Tuapse following a drone attack. This has been reported by Telegram channels.
This is already the fourth drone attack on the seaport in the last two weeks. Tuapse is home to an oil terminal and an oil refinery, which form a single industrial complex.
On the night of 28 April, drones attacked the city’s oil infrastructure for the third time. A column of smoke rose above the city, and burning oil leaked from one of the tanks.
Previously, strikes on oil facilities in Tuapse were also recorded on the nights of 16 and 20 April. On 22 April, oil combustion products fell on the city along with the rain, after which residents of several neighbourhoods were advised to limit their time outdoors and keep their windows closed.
