Emergency outage schedules are again in effect in Chernihiv region

"Due to a massive strike carried out by the enemy today, important energy facilities were damaged, causing a systemic failure in the network and resulting in the disconnection of immediately 307 thousand consumers in several districts of the region.
Unfortunately, the current capacity of the power system is insufficient to supply all consumers at once, so we are forced to resort to extreme measures – the "Hourly Power Outage Schedule," – the message states.
It was noted that the schedules will be in effect from 20:00 on October 1st.
Four queues will be activated in the schedule. The principle of its application: three hours on, six hours off (three hours with power and six hours without power).
"We understand very well that the volume of restrictions is very large, but under current conditions, we have no other choice. We emphasize: this is a temporary solution during the restoration work on the damaged facilities," – added Chernihivoblenergo.
