Shazam has arrived on ChatGPT: the chatbot has learned to recognise music
OpenAI has integrated Shazam into ChatGPT.
This has given the chatbot the ability to recognise music.
To take advantage of this new feature, you need to activate the corresponding setting in the ChatGPT application.
Shazam works through a new programme that can be connected in the brand catalogue on the ChatGPT website.
After that, music search will be available by calling @shazam or directly in the dialogue.
The user can simply ask the chatbot to identify the music, after which a corresponding button will appear on the screen.
If you use the feature on a phone with the Shazam client installed, you can save the recognised music to your media library.
Integration with Apple Music and Spotify is also provided.
In addition, playlists can be created directly in the chat from the music found, with the newly recognised song at the top.
The feature is expected to be available in all markets, as well as in the ChatGPT app on iOS and Android.
