Dii is trialling a new service for military personnel
The Diya portal has launched a beta test for a new service aimed at serving members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: the submission of applications for a one-off financial grant from the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine. The service is being developed as part of efforts to expand digital services for servicemen, women and their families.

Dii has begun recruiting participants for the beta testing of a new online service for serving members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This service allows users to apply for a one-off financial grant from the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine via the portal.

All active-duty personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are eligible to take part in the testing.

It is important to note a key restriction. If a service member has already received a one-off payment and their disability category or percentage of loss of working capacity has not changed since then, a repeat payment will not be available.

To take part in the beta test, you need to follow a special link on the Diya portal, read the information about the service, and then fill in your basic details – surname, first name, patronymic, RNO-KPP and email address.

After that, you need to click the registration button. If the application is successfully submitted, the user will need to wait for a notification about the start of the beta testing to be sent to the specified email address.

The announcement highlights that previously, applying for such assistance involved travelling to a military unit, gathering documents and waiting. The service is now being tested via an online application process to make the procedure faster and more convenient.

The service is being implemented by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine in collaboration with the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, the Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine, and the Pension Fund of Ukraine. It

is also noted that the project is being implemented with the support of the German Ministry of Defence and the BRDO Office for Effective Regulation.
