From 19 to 22 March, traffic will be partially restricted on a number of bridges and flyovers in Kyiv due to repairs to sections of the road surface in poor condition. The work will be carried out in stages, with the most restrictions scheduled for the weekend.

This was announced by Kyivavtodor. Partial traffic restrictions will be in place for

several days on certain transport infrastructure in the capital due to road resurfacing works.

According to Kyivavtodor, from 19 to 22 March, workers from the Kyivavtoshlyakhmist company will be repairing damaged sections on several key bridges and flyovers.

The Northern Bridge is first on the schedule. Repairs there will begin on Thursday, 19 March.

On Friday, 20 March, restrictions will remain in place on the Northern Bridge. On the same day, roadworks will also take place on the Mykilsky flyover over the railway tracks on Sobornosti Avenue.

The bulk of the work is scheduled for 21 and 22 March. On these days, repairs will be carried out simultaneously on the flyover on Zhylianska Street, on the Northern Bridge, as well as on the flyover crossing the railway tracks and the bridge over the Lybid River on Povitryanikh Sil Avenue.

Kyivavtodor has clarified that traffic will be restricted partially and in stages during the repairs, rather than being completely closed off.

The municipal corporation also warned that the schedule for the works may be adjusted if weather conditions deteriorate.

The article also notes that the government has stepped up the restoration of road infrastructure, focusing primarily on frontline regions and strategic routes with heavy traffic volumes. It

is also reported that road repairs are scheduled to be completed by 1 June, as weather conditions currently allow such work to be carried out.
