As a result of this morning’s attack, an industrial facility was hit and residential buildings were damaged.

Russian drones attacked Lutsk on the morning of 1 April. The strike destroyed the Nova Poshta terminal and damaged other buildings.

According to the Lutsk City Council, a strike was recorded at one of the industrial enterprises. Debris from the drone damaged a block of flats. Details regarding casualties were being clarified.

Mayor Ihor Polishchuk reported that the targets of the attack included a Nova Poshta warehouse and a food warehouse belonging to a retail chain. In the residential building, a balcony was damaged and a fire broke out.

Nova Poshta stated that all staff were in shelters at the time of the strike and were unharmed. An assessment of the damage is ongoing. Information regarding damaged parcels will be provided once the aftermath of the attack has been dealt with.

The company noted that it will compensate customers for lost parcels and provide details of the compensation. Further information will be available via the tracking system in the app.

The attack also damaged an apartment block, where windows were shattered and a fire broke out on a top-floor balcony. The fire was extinguished by units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

According to preliminary reports, there were no casualties. Law enforcement officers and rescue workers are at the scene.
