A new status has been introduced in ‘Reserve+’ that prevents bookings
Mobilisation in Ukraine
The ‘Reserve+’ app has received a new update – the ‘operational reserve’ status, the presence of which effectively prevents users from receiving mobilisation orders to work at critical enterprises.

Many conscripts have recently seen a flag appear in the ‘Reserve+’ app, preventing them from receiving a deferment from mobilisation in Ukraine.

Lawyer Tetyana Potapova spoke about this on her Instagram. According to her, in such cases, it becomes impossible for a conscript to make a booking.

“I don’t know why this is happening. Over the last few days, the top requests have been for refusals of mobilisation due to the fact that the citizen is a reservist. Yes, indeed, friends, it is impossible to mobilise a reservist under the standard rules, as the Cabinet of Ministers’ resolution does not provide for this,” said Tetyana Potapova.

Lawyer Marina Bekalo explained that reservist status directly affects the possibility of securing a booking.

“Reservists are not subject to conscription, as the law does not provide for the conscription of persons with reservist status. Only those liable for military service are subject to conscription,” she noted.

According to the lawyer, this is also linked to the fact that the military operational reserve is intended for the rapid reinforcement of combat units in the event of an escalation of the military situation, for the purpose of rotation or the rapid deployment of forces to the front line.

“In other words, such individuals are registered in the reserve for priority mobilisation in the event that additional forces are required at the front,” explained Marina Bekalo.
