Zelenskyy held talks with Witkoff and Kushner on stepping up diplomatic efforts
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has announced that he held talks with Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, representatives of US President Donald Trump.
According to the head of state, during the conversation the parties discussed ways of stepping up diplomatic efforts to bring about peace.
“I have just spoken with President Trump’s representatives, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. It was a good and important conversation about how to step up diplomatic efforts and bring peace closer,” said Zelenskyy.
The President emphasised that Ukraine is ready for peace with dignity. He also noted that the teams on both sides remain in close contact to continue working on all the agreements reached.
“Our teams remain in close contact, in particular to continue working on everything we discussed. “I would like to thank Steve and Jared for their personal efforts towards peace. We are grateful to President Trump and the American people for their unwavering support,” Zelenskyy concluded.
