Over the past 24 hours, 261 combat engagements were recorded on the front line. Russian troops carried out missile and air strikes, whilst the Defence Forces continued to target areas where the enemy was concentrated and to repel their attacks on the main fronts.

The 1,611th day of the Russian Federation’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 261 combat engagements took place on the front line over the past 24 hours.

Russian forces carried out two missile strikes using three missiles, conducted 78 air strikes and dropped 267 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the enemy deployed 9,923 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,085 attacks on populated areas and Ukrainian military positions, 48 of which were conducted using multiple launch rocket systems.

Over the past 24 hours, the Defence Forces’ air force struck six areas where enemy personnel were concentrated and two other key Russian military targets.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Russian forces carried out two air strikes, dropped eight aerial bombs and carried out 53 shelling attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas, one of which was carried out using a multiple launch rocket system.

In the Southern Slobozhansky sector, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian units 11 times in the area of Fyholivka and in the direction of Ternova, Prylipka, Hrafske, Kutkivka and Maly Burluk.

In the Kupiansk sector, one attack was recorded in the direction of Kupiansk.

In the Lyman sector, Russian forces made 15 attempts to breach the Defence Forces’ defences in the areas of Novomykhailivka, Novoselivka and in the direction of Lyman, Drobyshove, Stavky and Ozerny.

In the Sloviansk sector, the enemy carried out 25 assaults in the areas of Kryva Luka, Riznykivka and in the direction of Piskunivka and Rai Oleksandrivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian troops carried out five attacks in the area of Nykyforivka and in the direction of Vasyutynske and Yurkivka.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, 25 attacks were recorded in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Rusyn Yar and in the direction of Dovha Balka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 42 enemy assaults in the areas of Sofiivka, Toretsk, Shakhovyi, Nikanorivka, Hryshyne, Vasylivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Filiya and in the direction of Vilne, Kucherovyi Yar, Novyi Shakhovyi, Bilytske, Novyi Donbas, Myrne, Svitle, Shevchenko and Serhiivka.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy launched four attacks in the areas of Ternove and Kalynivske.

On the Huliaipole sector, the occupiers launched 13 attacks in the direction of Vozdvizhivka, Dobropillia, Staroukrainka, Hirkyi, Tsvitkove and Charivne.

In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled five enemy attempts to advance in the areas of Mala Tokmachka, Mali Shcherbaky, Shcherbaky and towards Pavlivka.

In the Dnipro sector, no offensive actions by Russian forces were recorded.

In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of the enemy forming offensive groups have been detected.

According to the General Staff, Russian forces suffered 1,460 casualties over the past 24 hours. Ukrainian defenders also destroyed 28 tanks, 12 armoured fighting vehicles, 78 artillery systems, three multiple launch rocket systems, two air defence systems, three missiles, 13 ground-based robotic systems, 1,688 unmanned aerial vehicles, 541 vehicles and three pieces of specialised equipment.
