The number of victims of the Russian missile attack on Kharkiv has increased. Search and rescue operations continue.

In Kharkiv, rescuers found the body of a woman while clearing the rubble after a Russian missile strike. This was reported by the mayor of Igor Terekhov

Earlier, the body of a 3-year-old boy was unblocked from the rubble. According to the head of the regional military administration Oleg Syniehubov, the child was under the rubble with his mother

On 2 January, the enemy struck the Kyiv district of the city with two Iskander M missiles. The attack killed two people. Thirty-one people were injured, seven of them are in hospitals, one woman is in critical condition in intensive care

More than 30 residential buildings, a hospital and civil infrastructure facilities were damaged. Over 300 people and more than 80 vehicles are involved in the response. The search and rescue operation is ongoing and people may still be trapped under the rubble
