Equipment for "wiretapping" was found in the VACU employee's residence
VACU: "We interpret these facts as attempts to influence the impartial administration of justice by VACU judges and associate them with the consideration of court cases that are under the court's jurisdiction."
VACU does not disclose the name of the employee and does not reveal details of the incident.
However, the statement notes that reports of interference in the administration of justice have been submitted to the High Council of Justice and the Office of the Prosecutor General, and criminal proceedings have been initiated.
The Supreme Anti-Corruption Court also reminded that, according to Article 6 of the Law "On the Judiciary and the Status of Judges," interference in the administration of justice, influence on a court or judges in any way, gathering, storing, using, and disseminating information verbally, in writing, or in other ways with the aim of discrediting the court or influencing its impartiality, are prohibited, and interference with the activities of judicial bodies entails liability provided by the Criminal Code.
