Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers, who have been defending the village of Mala Tokmachka for over 1,500 days, have set a national record
This was reported by the brigade itself.
Thus, the village of Mala Tokmachka has become one of the longest-held front lines of the current Russian-Ukrainian war, which Ukrainian fighters have continuously controlled for over 1,500 days amid constant assaults, artillery fire, and air and drone pressure.
The 118th Mechanised Brigade emphasises that the national record is merely a historical fact. The main reward for the soldiers remains every metre of Ukrainian land they have preserved.
“Honour and respect to all the soldiers, to all the units that have held and continue to hold the front lines in the Malaya Tokmachka area,” the military added.
