Ukraine’s tracking of agricultural goods illegally exported by Russia
Ukraine is monitoring vessels carrying agricultural products that Russia has illegally exported from the temporarily occupied territories. The Foreign Ministry has stated that it will respond to all such cases, and this does not apply solely to Israel.

This was stated by Georgiy Tykhyi, spokesperson for the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during an online meeting with journalists, according to Interfax-Ukraine.

Ukraine will respond to all instances of agricultural produce, illegally exported by Russia from the temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories, entering other countries.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasised that this does not apply solely to Israel.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Georgiy Tykhyi stated that Ukraine had previously publicly reported such shipments when vessels were approaching Turkey, Egypt, Algeria and certain other countries.

“There have been cases in the past; we even publicly reported such shipments when they were approaching Turkey, Egypt, Algeria and some other countries. There are actually several ships at the moment. As far as I know, one is approaching Egypt and another is heading for Algeria,” said Tykhyi.

The Foreign Ministry emphasised that Ukraine “sees everything” and will not ignore such incidents.

Tykhyi stressed that the Ukrainian side would respond to all such incidents.

Earlier, on 28 April, the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned Michael Brodsky, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to Ukraine.

He was handed a note of protest regarding the arrival in Israel of agricultural products illegally exported by Russia from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

As reported by ThePublic, Kyiv stated that a Russian vessel carrying Ukrainian grain had entered the port of Haifa. The Ukrainian side is asking Israel not to allow it to leave the port.
