Ukraine will be "controlled to export weapons"
"Regarding the issue of controlled export of various weapons, from which there will be no shortage for the Ukrainian army - this is exactly how we approach this issue. Because the priority is the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and where we can produce more, and the Ukrainian army does not need more of this or that, then we can export the remaining," said Zelensky during a briefing on Saturday, reports thepublic.info, citing the president's press conference.
The president noted that Ukraine could earn money from this export and spend it on deficit drones.
"Such a system suits everyone, it suits the army. I am not sure that all our businesses are satisfied, they want to sell everything everywhere immediately, but undoubtedly our priority is to fill the Ukrainian army," he emphasized.
The president shared that on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York, the Ukrainian side agreed on the sale of weapons to some African countries.
“Regarding the directions: Europe – representation, representation in the USA and the Middle East. There is an agreement with the African continent. There is a proposal from several African countries. To be honest, we have already chosen a country,” added Zelensky.
