Since the start of the full-scale war, Ukrainian air defence forces have destroyed over 140,000 air targets.
On 24 February, the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that since the start of Russia's full-scale aggression, air defence forces had shot down more than 140,000 air targets.
These included 86 Kh-47 M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles, 709 Kalibr cruise missiles, 2,459 Kh-101 cruise missiles, 13 Kh-22 and Kh-32 cruise missiles, 12 Onyx anti-ship missiles, 261 Iskander-K cruise missiles, 274 Iskander-M and KN-23 ballistic missiles, 11 Zircon anti-ship missiles, 540 guided air missiles and 30 missiles of other types.
Also destroyed were 44,700 Shahed-type strike drones, 14,900 reconnaissance drones, 7,500 Lancet drones and 70,300 drones of other types.
During this period, Ukrainian aviation carried out 26,800 sorties. Of these, 11,000 were for fire support and air support for troops, and 14,000 were for fighter cover. Over the four years of the invasion, the air force destroyed 9,000 air targets and struck command posts, logistics facilities, equipment and Russian military concentrations.
On the night before the fourth anniversary of the full-scale invasion, Russia attacked Ukraine with an Iskander-M ballistic missile and 133 strike drones of the Shahed, Gerber, Italmas and other types.
Air defence forces destroyed 111 drones in the north, south and east of the country. Missile strikes and 19 drones were recorded in 16 locations, as well as debris from downed drones falling in one location.
