Energy officials have announced temporary restrictions for industrial consumers due to the impact of Russian attacks on energy infrastructure.

The national energy company Ukrenergo has announced the introduction of temporary power supply restrictions for industrial consumers.

According to the company, power restriction schedules will be in force across all regions of Ukraine on 15 March from 17:00 to 23:00. These will apply to businesses and industry.

This decision was prompted by the consequences of Russia’s missile and drone attacks on the Ukrainian power grid, which have disrupted its operation.

Ukrenergo also recommends shifting active electricity use to daytime hours — from 11:00 to 16:00. Furthermore, the public is asked to avoid switching on several high-power electrical appliances simultaneously in the evening to reduce the load on the grid.

Energy officials stress that the situation in the power grid remains fluid, so changes are possible. They advise keeping track of the latest information on the official websites of the regional power supply companies in the relevant regions.
