Due to the security situation and the consequences of shelling, temporary traffic restrictions are in place in a number of regions.

The Ukrzaliznytsia Telegram channel has published operational information on train traffic as of 28 February. The company noted that it is working in an enhanced mode and ensuring traffic where the security situation allows.

Kherson region Train
traffic is being organised taking into account the current security situation. Passengers are asked to follow push notifications in the official Ukrzaliznytsia app and announcements at stations and on trains.

Sumy and Chernihiv regions
Regional trains are temporarily running only to and from Konotop. On the route to Nizhyn, suburban services are operating according to adapted schedules.

Kharkiv and Donetsk regions Passengers are
transported by bus transfers from Lozova station to Kramatorsk. Train No. 101/102 on the Barvinkove-Kherson route will provide a transfer and will wait for passengers. Regional express trains on the Izyum route are running according to schedule.

Zaporizhzhia
After night shelling, there were power outages in the city, but suburban trains are running. Delays of up to one hour are possible, but no cancellations are expected.

Temporary restrictions on travel to and from Dnipro-Holovnyi station apply to the following trains:

  • No. 86/85 Lviv — Zaporizhzhia — Lviv

  • No. 128/127 Lviv — Zaporizhzhia — Lviv

  • No. 6 Yasinya — Zaporizhzhia

  • No. 40/39 Solotvyno — Zaporizhzhia — Solotvyno

Transportation between Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia is mainly provided by bus transfers.

Ukrzaliznytsia urges passengers to follow the instructions of train crews and station staff, as well as to keep push notifications enabled in the app.
