UDO explained why former Speaker Parubiy did not have state protection

Yes, according to the law "On State Protection of the Authorities of Ukraine and Officials," the safety of such officials is ensured at their permanent and temporary places of residence:
- Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine;
- Prime Minister;
- Chairman of the Constitutional Court;
- Chairman of the Supreme Court;
- First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada;
- Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada;
- First Vice Prime Minister;
- Minister of Foreign Affairs;
- Attorney General;
- Minister of Defense;
UDOH noted that during the term of office of such officials, the security of their family members is also provided.
However, after the expiration of their term, such officials are provided with state protection for only 1 year, except in cases where a "conviction" has entered into legal force against them.
