In Ukraine, gasoline cars are losing market share
In Ukraine, in July, cars with traditional engines accounted for about 54% of the new passenger car market. Last year, this figure was 63.1%.

This is reported by Ukrautoprom.

The most popular models in Ukraine remain those with gasoline engines, accounting for 35.1% of new car sales in July, compared to 37.6% in July 2024.

At the same time, the electric vehicle segment has significantly increased - from 15.3% to 24.7%. The share of hybrids has almost not changed - 21.2%.

The share of diesel cars has decreased over the year from 25.5% to 18.7%. Cars with LPG systems, as last year, accounted for less than 1% of new car sales.

Leading positions in segments are held by:

  • Gasoline cars – HYUNDAI Tucson;
  • Electric – BYD Song Plus;
  • Hybrid – TOYOTA RAV-4;
  • Diesel – RENAULT Duster;
  • Cars with LPG – HYUNDAI Tucson.
