HAAS confiscated Ukrainian assets of a Russian businessman
The controlling stake (almost 53%) of JSC "Kirovohrad Mining Administration" belonged to Serhiy Kabarhin through affiliated structures.

On Monday, November 17, the panel of judges of the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) approved the claim filed by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and applied the sanctions against the assets of a Russian businessman, provided for in paragraph 1-1 of part 1 of article 4 of the Law of Ukraine "On Sanctions". According to data from several Ukrainian media outlets, this refers to Serhiy Kabarhin.

The following assets were confiscated:

  • 18.7896% of the total value of shares of JSC "Kirovohrad Mining Administration" in the amount of 153,575 units with a nominal value of 7,678 UAH 75 kop., owned by the limited liability company "Trest" and regarding which the specified person can perform actions equivalent in content to exercising the right of disposal;
  • 24.4696% of the total shares of JSC "Kirovohrad Mining Administration" in the amount of 20,000 units with a nominal value of 10,000 UAH, owned by the company "Group Semy Universal Limited" and regarding which the specified person can perform actions equivalent in content to exercising the right of disposal;
  • 9.0053% of the total value of shares of JSC "Kirovohrad Mining Administration" in the amount of 77,650 units with a nominal value of 2,882 UAH 50 kop., owned by the limited liability company "Agency of Securities" and regarding which the specified person can perform actions equivalent in content to exercising the right of disposal.

An appeal against the court decision can be filed by the participant of the case and/or their representative to the Appellate Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court within five days from the day of its announcement.
