Vasyl Lomachenko could return to professional boxing as early as autumn 2026.
According to Mike Coppinger, the former world champion in three weight classes is coming out of his boxing hiatus after previously announcing the end of his career.
Lomachenko’s contract with the promotional company Top Rank expires on 12 May 2026. After that, the Ukrainian will become a free agent and will be free to choose his options for his next fight.
According to sources at The Ring, Lomachenko is not interested in interim or ranking bouts.
He wants only big fights against top-tier opponents.
When Lomachenko last stepped into the ring
