Sent methadone to "clients" in boxes from children's toys

Officers from the Desnianskyi Police Department uncovered the offender. They detained a 37-year-old local resident on Zakrevskogo Street as she was heading to the post office to send a pre-packaged batch of prohibited substances to "clients." A investigative team from the territorial department was called to the scene.
During the investigative actions, police officers seized eight packets of methadone from the woman, which she had managed to hide in toy box containers and intended to sell.
The law enforcement officers established that the offender was sending methadone to clients across the city via postal services. In her Kyiv apartment, the woman was packaging drugs, disguising them, and then sending them to "buyers." The woman was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
The investigators informed her of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – illegal acquisition and storage of a narcotic in large quantities with the intent to sell. The suspect faces up to ten years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.
